FUN THINGS TO DO AT WEDGE STUDIOS
The OG Watering Hole
Established in 2008, Wedge is a neighborhood brewery. This is the OG location – a legendary brewery in a dirt parking lot, in a (formerly) sketchy building down by the tracks. Now this is where you find the locals drinking some of the best beer in Asheville.
Bottle Riot is a neighborhood bar + listening lounge
Open daily
Extensive wine list
European beers
Cocktails
Wide variety of spirits
Small bites
Plenty of outdoor seating + free parking
Dog-friendly, weekly guest DJs, events, and more!
The Bull and Beggar is Asheville River Arts District first casual fine dining gem.
Offering the best of rustic European farmhouse and bistro cuisines, filtered through Appalachian traditions and products all concealed within a gorgeous warm industrial revamp that is reminiscent of a drinking and dining hall from the past. Fruits of the sea, local produce, house charcuterie, imported cheese, and heavenly meat cuts are all well represented. The service is gentle and informed, the wine is carefully curated and the drinks are stiff.

FEATURED
The WEDGE is the legacy of John Payne, sculptor, inventor, engineer. Although no longer with us in the flesh, John’s vision continues to inspire an entire generation of artists and visitors alike. John was always the first to help artists by giving them space to live and work, and by creating a community in which to flourish.
